This is the view from a friend's 37th floor apartment. That's the thing here. There doesn't seem to be any control as to how high these buildings can go.
The rain may have settled some of the smog or it's just better at night. However, I'm developing a cold which I'm definitely not happy about.

Wow, that's a grand view. It looks almost like you were in America.
I think what most people, myself included, do not realise is how advanced China's major cities are. In a lot of ways, I think they are even ahead of some developed countries.
The only thing is they are definitely not conserving energy. The riverside is always lit; lovely for the tourists and people on the river cruise.
