It had to happen sometime. I was heading out Friday evening to meet some friends in Hooley's Pub. The taxi driver was an impatient young chap, weaving in and out of the traffic. I wasn't paying attention and before I knew it, he braked and I was thrown forward. There's a cage divider between driver and passenger and my nose decided that it was going to be the first point of contact. Touched my face and the blood told me that my forehead had that little nick as well. He dropped me about 200m from my destination where he stopped to negotiate with the driver of the car which he had hit. No charge! Rightly so.
Anyway, I didn't let it spoil my evening. Hooley's is another Irish pub and there was a live band. Pretty good atmosphere on a weekend. I stayed for a while and then adjourned to Riches. Needless to say, I'm still nursing a hangover..., with the little accident quite forgotten.

Hope the cage isn't rusty! Had your tetanus shot?
Looks like you're starting to warm to GZ, eh? Cheers (hic!)!
wear seat belts next time. Luckily you were not sitting in front or you would have flown out of the windscreen!

Good grief, that's quite a gash to the head. Hope you don't scar. I never wear seat belts in a taxi, I'm starting to rethink that habit.
Glad you're okay!
You r disfigured :P
Ouch... he's lucky you didn't go after him for compensation. Reckless!
