100 Things to Do Before You Die

You know these lists that people make? Well, I'm not a very ambitious person. So guess what? One of the things I want to do is to experience the tasting menuThe Fat Duck.

Wikipedia: The Fat Duck is a restaurant run by chef Heston Blumenthal in Bray, Berkshire, England. In 2005 it was named as the best restaurant in the world by Restaurant magazine, and it came second in both 2004 and 2006.

Made the mistake of reading your blog before dinner. Actually salivating looking at the menu. Strange, though, so low emphasis on meats. Fortunately, Su's cooking tonight - mentaiko pasta & 2 kinds of eel (sea eel and the usual unagi) we bought from the supermarket. With some red wine, I'll be satiated. Have a good week!

Menu sounds like this new place at Clarke Quay - it had a write up in Sunday's life section - something to do with molecular gastronomy. Its called Aurum and you can read about it at http://wineanddine.asiaone.com.sg/reviews/restaurants/others/20061224_001.html
Maybe it'll have to do until you get to try Fat Duck...
