Sunday Morning

... not so bad like some of them. Woke up before the alarm at about 8.30am. Had to get up. Laundry to do and stuff to clear up (it's been more than a week since I got back from Mongolia and clutter is still about).

Attending the brunch that we shameless squeezed out of Ternasser for her promotion to city (or as she had coined it, shitty head. Must remember to bring my camera to go get some pics.

Pretty good evening last night. Collected pictures that I had printed and went to Comso Village for dinner. Haven't caught up with Ram since before my trip. Stll a cool place to visit. Had my fav "Chilli Lamb Curry". As for drinks, went real easy... hahaha. Started with guess what? A diet Pepsi. Then did have a small vodka soda. (Some foreign guy came to bar to order a large Absolut & Redbull. You won't believe the price. Rs. 600 for the vodka and the redbull was Rs.200. Including tax, he paid Rs.825 for that one drink! i.e. more than S$35. Can you imagine that?)

Was supposed to meet Amy and Sari at Blue. Change of plans. What's new? Landed up at taika, where I had thought of going anyway to catch up with Pat. David's in town as well. Oliver Sean sang. Some guy went mad on the in front of the stage during a Hindi song. Hilarious! The change in taika is really great. So much more spacious.

Of course everything shut at 11.30 again. Debate, debate, debate... We decided to go home. While waiting for the car, Arvind reminded us that he hadn't had dinner. That was the cue. It was off to Park for 'moti appams' and Thai green curry which Sari had introduced to me and I loved.


Man, the place was packed. Had to wait for table and got one in 10. You see, Saritha is very well known at the Park. Scratch that, in Bangalore.

Had the buffet and pigged out. So what's new? Managed to get home and got to bed at 2am. Was too lazy to turn off the opera that was kinda blasting at my head (This is a recent thing. Starting to listen to some opera. Mind you, only arias... Not sophisticated enough to do more than that.)
