Sunday Brunch

This would have been a staid affair were it not for Ternasser's constant faux pas that we, ok mostly I, chose to interprete with heaps of sexual innuendos. She puts her foot into her mouth all the time, much to our amusement and her chagrin.

Needless to say, we overate and then complained that we did. Tried some cocktails this time round, instead of the usual Ivy 'champagne'. The apple martini and mojito were far inferior to those we've had at Olive and i-Bar. So we know we won't be ordering them again. Once again, Margaret's OWC (Overseas Women's Club) membership proved completely justifiable. I would seriously consider the honorary membership just for the discounts at restaurants!

Finally left at 4pm. One of the rare times when I have hardly had anything to drink. Must be age catching up. The migraine that has been threatening since morning looks like it might finally catch up with me once I get home.

Downloading the photographs from my camera, I discovered some which I had forgotten completely about. They must have been from one of the get-togethers for Mei Leng and Flo's farewell. It feels like such a long time ago. Actually it was. Must have been more than a year... ok just checked, it was 17Sep05. 10 months. Wow!
Not a drink in sight, we couldn't have had that good a time. Hahaha. Or maybe once we started, I didn't take out the camera any more.

That was at Cosmo Village, still one of my fav hangouts in Bangalore. Just last night.

The interiors of Cosmo Village had been changed again a few months ago. Terrace is lovely as always. Weather in Bangalore has improved as well. Low is about 20 degC. What more can we ask for? Couldn't find the pic I took at Cosmo but old pic of taika... one of my favourite pictures of that place.
