Thomas had cooked some chicken with mushrooms and chinese ham. So I was more than happy to join him for a bite before heading out to Pebble this evening, where we were to meet the rest.Seamus was there with Sanjay and Mary. Ani, Dhruva, Patrick and Sari arrived from an art show at the Windsor Manor. So they were all quite royally dressed.
Ben came in with some 'royalty' to whom he devoted his complete attention for the evening. Its amazing the effect royalty has on the English.
Patrick reminded us of some of our pornstar names.
Sari's was Twinkle Shetty (name of first pet and mother's maiden name.) Dhruv's would have worked better were he a woman. I somehow cannot quite see him as Ruff Jenny. I have never had a pet and was too young to remember the name of first street I lived on. So I guess a career in porn in out of the question?
(I really need not to mix my drinks. Even a little wine mixed with beer is causing me to sit here now with the feeling of a massive headache sort of lurking behind my eyes to the base of my neck. )We did adjourn afterwards to Sari's for a drink. This time it was truly only a small group and we all left early. Golf and brunches beckon tomorrow.
Dhruva Gave me a book as we were leaving. Jim Collins' "Good to Great". He recommended it very highly, which made me wonder if this would really provide me with the much-needed kick in the derriere to do whatever... maybe.

I love this picture of Ani. Ben was doing something strange in the background but was still interesting, so I decided to leave him there but blurred him out.
