Apparently, people in the know will come to Coonoor to pick up petit point table linen. We chanced on the sign enroute to the tea plantation. Boy, were we not disappointed.

Apart from the fact that Su managed to get a table cloth large enough for her dining table, this 'shop' is actually operated by two sisters from their home. The grounds were amazing, overflowing with wonderful flora at every turn. We wished they would serve tea in the gazebo. But then, they were only doing this to help underprivileged women and ran the place like a non-profit organisation.

The clouds rolled in behind us giving the place such a surreal feeling.
