2-in-1

Two celebrations together or it could also mean two people (Sam ans Raymond) sharing an apartment, who were our hosts for the evening.

This was also the last day of the Chinese New Year festivities. As you can see, everyone who was a cook in Bangalore contributed something. The earlier ambition of having auspicious dishes kinda fell by the wayside. Abalone yu-sheng was abandoned as TC heard from Joseph that it sounded like 'guaranteed not to prosper'. Sharon and Neo did not manage to bring in the duck. Nevertheless, it was still an excellent menu. No pics, but Jonathan brought charsiew and 'kong ba' paus as well. There was also a dessert soup made by chef JT. Yes, compared to me, they are all chefs. Kudos to all of them.

And what would new year celebrations be without a bit of gambling. A mahjong game was ongoing while we started on an exciting game of 'polish'. After dinner, black jack was the order of the day. It didn't matter if one won or lost since the stakes were hardly significant. It just added to the atmosphere.

I think hardly anyone of us would still be here in Bangalore next year. Treasure the moment, eh?

LM: Yours is in the mind
VnC: Yours is invisible

Mine is real. So who's got a problem? I'll think about it tomorrow.
