Neo's Palace

There is certainly no shortage of culinary talents in Bangalore these days. Since Sharon's arrival, the Neo's have been treating us to various delights from home.

Neo advertised this evening solely on the basis of the pork belly. Since the last time when Thomas and JT mentioned that the pork wasn't fatty enough, we have been looking forward to this. Simply exquisite is how I would put it! I believe the pork has been cooking for a long time. Two days? Whatever it was, the fat was still firm enough but the lean meat just tender. Full of flavour...

For someone who is supposed to be just learning to cook, Sharon acquited herself admirably with the kampong style fried chicken. The soup was very good as well. Perfect home-cooked meal.

The Neo's will be moving to another apartment very soon. It has become painfully obvious what they will want as housewarming presents. Take note all, wine glasses, bottle opener, crockery...
