Arvind's pet project and labour of love is now complete. He had extended their back garden and reclaimed some usable space and to top it off, added a bar. Their name for it? "The Blue Frog Lounge".

Friends were on hand to inaugurate the place. As usual, most guests arrived only after 10pm, the fashionable time to turn up in Bangalore. And quite a few people would have come from another party or would be heading somewhere else...
Special cocktail for the evening was Cosmopolitan. However, towards the end of the evening, Arvind brought out the
Absynthe and
tequila. This certainly pushed the gear up a notch.

Several cozy corners had been created but some of us were most happy to prop up the bar. Amazing coincidence that first thing Tony and Zeeba asked me, separately, was, "How's the love/sex life?" Am I starting to look desperate?
The longest Indian goodbye trophy must be handed out to Dhruva, Anisha and
chorta Arvind. They started saying goodbye but were still there when I left, which was more than an hour after that. I wonder if they are still there this morning. Shortest goodbye? Saritha won hands down. We thought she had gone upstairs for a nap but she had already left.

The key to a succesful party? Good food, good drinks and good friends. To top it off, invite the nice friendly neighbours and design your house such that you can shut out the ones you do not like.
