Thursday Chillout

Thomas will be leaving India soon and Carlos arrived from Hong Kong last night. Sari decided it would be perfect to do cook for us tonight. What an excellent idea!

For once, she did not overcater. Crab curry, two types of chicken, fried pomfret and tomato salad. Perfect menu. Sari had very much toned down the spiciness of the curry but it was perfect for the rest of us.

Carlos had brought presents for Sari and Yasmin from my favorite store in Hong Kong, G.O.D.(Goods of Desire), which in Cantonese sounds exactly like 'better living'. What a clever name was what I thought when I first read about the store a few years ago. I make it a point to visit the store now every time I am in Hong Kong.

Ben ate and left for taika. The rest of us just chilled out with our wines and talked about everything under the sun. Carlos and Yasmin shared this precious vignette (totally wrong way to describe this) of one of Carlos' experience of an auto ride in Bangalore. I will never look at autos in the same way again.

We finally left close to midnight and decided to head out to Blue Bar tomorrow right.
