Friday Night

Blue Bar on a Friday night is a pretty good place to be. Always a good crowd and the ambience is great. What I've always liked about the place is the fact that you can step into the open, away from the gazebo and away from the music. That is if you want to. Most times you don't. It's perfect to be in the midst of it all, if you don't mind the occasional jostle.

I had forgotten that it was "Reggaeton Night", whatever that was supposed to mean. Don't recall much reggae being played. Lost of Latin/Hiphop though.

A couple of female bartenders were in attendance behind the bar to add some excitement. I was cajoled into taking a shot the moment I arrived. The ladies did some juggling with fire, which reminded me of Goa for some reason.

Saritha usually refuses to have her picture taken by the page 3 photographer and they all know her for that. So we decided to kinda turn the tables and have her photographed with him instead. Sari just told me that his name is Amalnath Benedict Kumar. How unusual is that.

Of course the place shut promptly at 11.30. Only when the crowd started to thin that we realised Armaity and Viraf were also there. An after party seemed like a good idea... at the time. At Saritha's place. She wanted to keep it small, just the few of us.

Safe to conclude, there is no such thing as a small after-party. There must have been about 40 people there at one point. Needless to say, a few things got broken and our 'friendly neighbourhood police' visited to check if everything was alright. Haha.

Even Saritha didn't know half the people that were there. Ben had the hots for a Sonal clone. Carlos was flirting away. You will have to check with Yasmeen for the details. Quite juicy. We finally left at about 3. Perfect weather for walking home...
